I would definitely ask your boss.  Since she is planning on leaving, I think this would be an appropriate thing to ask and she will understand.  We used to have a satellite office in another state and when the editor running that office left, his assistant and associate editors were let go.  His replacement works in another state and her assistant works in the main office.  Usually a satellite office is there because it is most convenient for the person in charge there.  When they leave, a lot of times the position is moved to the main office or to an office more convenient to the new person, which could be out of travel distance for you.  I'm not trying to scare you.  I just think this is something you should really discuss with your boss.  If she's not sure what will happen to you (which is possible if she hasn't informed the company of her job search), I would start looking just to be safe.

Is there a possibility that your boss would take you along to a new job?  My b/f was in a similar situation.  His boss moved companies and asked my b/f to go along with her.  He didn't end up going.....in his boss' contract it was stated that she got to hire her own staff.  If you would like to work for your boss in the future, talk to him about this.

This is your career, and it sounds like your current position may be in jeopardy.  Talk to your boss immediately!!!

I've always liked my male bosses much better...found them to be much more upfront, less catty, etc.  But, I've always gotten along better with men!

I agree with the others - it's time to start looking out for yourself. Good luck!
