I use one by Lanza, Urban Elements I think. It's pretty good, though my hair isn't very damaged anymore.

what about that new ojon stuff at sephora.com and qvc.com that has been pretty popular lately. I use coconut oil, you can get at a grocery store. It comes in a solid state but you melt it down and massage it into your scalp (really good for dry itchy scalp) and it leaves your hair really soft and shiny after leaving it in for about 25-30 minutes. Plus, it's about $7 for a big jar of it.

Garnier Fructies has a really nice deep conditioner. I use it once a week and it makes my hair really soft.

I have 2 favorite deep conditioners.

1. Burt's Bees' Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment (I paid $9 at Beauty First). If feels funny going in, but feels great once you've finished! I just tried it Saturday, and I decided already that it's a favorite.

2. Redkin All Soft Heavy Cream (small size is $2.75 at Beauty First, they make a big tube too). This one is a standing favorite. It smells great and is SO soft. I really love it.

PS-use Infusium leave in conditioner when you get out of the shower and before any other hair product to help soften dry hair. A also use Redkin Anti-Snap on wet hair. Both work great, Infusium is cheaper and the two in combination is great.

I love the burt's bees avocado butter too.

olive oil is a great, cheap deep conditioner too. i put it on my dry hair (if you have one of those misto sprayer things it makes it really easy) and comb it through and leave it on for as long as i can.

i think deep conditioning is really important if you have color-treated hair. hair that is dry does not hold color as well, so it will fade faster.

even regular conditioners can technically be used as a deep, with heat to penetrate. i really like kpak's deep. if you dont have a hooded dryer (and most people dont!) you can wet a towel in hot water, then wring out excess moisture. wrap it around hair to act as a heat activator.
