I'm so touched and happy this morning...it's been a tough January / February for us so far - lots of travel, he's been sick, I've been sick (and still am) and we aren't huge fans of Valentine's Day anyway (I personally think it's the worst holiday that's overpromoted by Hallmark and sundry, because it tends to make singles feel crappy for no good reason)...so we'd kind of agreed not to even do anything this year. 

But when I got up this morning to go to the doctor, I found two lovely cards from my DH, and what he wrote inside them was even sweeter.  We are approaching our 5th wedding anniversary in April, and the last two years have been kind of rough - too much work (his business and mine), too little quality time, some other issues...it felt good to know he still cared enough to not just buy cards, but to tell me in his own words how he still loves me.  It's gray and raining in Atlanta, but I'm beaming all over the house today.
