West Elm furniture quality

step side table

I've been eyeing these side tables from West Elm for quite some time (the "chocolate" ones). I haven't bought them yet because I fear the quality isn't going to be too great. They are only $159 each, so I guess if they don't last a long time I will have gotten my money's worth.... Can anyone comment on their furniture quality?

While we're talking about West Elm, does anyone have a coupon code for shipping?

H and I used alot of West Elm furniture at his places in Miami and they've held up through numerous renters over 3 years. So I give a definite thumbs up to the quality.

I love those tables!  We have one piece of furn from WE, and the quality is good.  It's not heirloom quality, of course, but it works well enough.

I recently purchased a desk from West Elm and it seems to be pretty good quality. I think a table such as the one you are eyeing would be a safe purchase to make that will last awhile.

I've had a bed from West Elm for like 4 years and it's held up fairly well. But, the metal support in the center got a little warped, so I've had to rig it a little bit. It does look exactly the same, though! No wear on the surface at all.

I think it's a safe buy. An end table doesn't take that much abuse.
