Do you think these would look good with skirts?
Permalink Closed

I've been trying to find a pair of leather boots that I can wear a lot this winter to work. The thing is, I plan on wearing them quite a lot (so they should be fairly nondescript), they can't really have a high heel (we have a horrible gravely parking lot that I have to walk across several times a day and high heels are a killer), and they must look good with skirts (because the whole reason I want a new pair is so that I don't have to live in pants this winter).

I found these:

Do you girls like them? Do you think they'd look OK with a skirt?

Other suggestions welcome too!

I have a friend who had a very similar pair last year and I always thought they looked great with skirts!

As long as the skirts are above your knee I think they will work.

ttara123, where are they from? I spent 40 mins trying to find them to no avail.

Ooh thanks. I think I'd have to try them on first, will look for them in the store (I have a calf problem usually!)

I have calf problems too, but Piperlime has free shipping and returns so I figured I'd give them a try...and me going into shoe stores is never risk free because I just come out with more than I planned on :)

XtinaStyles- I got them yesterday. FWIW, I have problems with boots a lot because my calves are scrawny and most boot legs are too big for me. But these fit me really nicely. I know there is a circumference measurement on the piperlime page, too, if that helps.

Perfect - the trick with skirts is that they are not too wide at the top by your kneew or they can look a little sloppy.

Oof - that answered that - my calves are usually too big for the average zip up leather boot. Oh wells! They'll look cute on you though!
