How would I dress this down?

I just won this on eBay and am wondering how I could dress it down - the beading on the sleeves makes it a lot dressier than if it was plain. I'd like to wear it with my olive green silk pants from Antik Batik (don't know if anyone remembers me obsessing over these when they were a net-a-porter - I eventually got them on sale about 6 weeks ago) and maybe just a plain white cotton tank underneath. Would this work?

that top is gorgeous!  i think the outfit you described sounds great...i don't get a really dressy vibe from the top despite the beading, i think it's because it looks very airy/gauzy, and the ties at the neck and waist make it seem more casual to me. 


i am in serious envy of your wardrobe!

I think that would totally work. I think you could wear that with a lot of stuff. Despite the beading, the fabric is pretty casual.

asf - I've been on a tear recently but it's coming to an end (I had a little extra $ unexpectedly from work). I don't always spend like this, trust me.

Ha! Lsu - do you know where I live? I am *totally* out of place here in hemp/tie-dye heaven. I got glared at when I grocery shopped a month ago, when I probably would have been considered homeless/destitute in L.A. Thanks anyway, though, it's nice to know someone likes it.


I was thinking of starting a thread in polls where we could post our eBay finds/sellers. Maybe I'll do that. I always see so many things I can't buy but that I think should be worn.
