Ojon Rub-out Dry Cleanser Girls (collette, farrah)

I read a review on MUA that it has a vanilla smell. How distinct is the smell?

I personally don't like perfumes that have a vanilla scent i.e. Burberry Brit. I want to purchase a dry shampoo but I don't want the smell to make me sick!

TIA!

It has a strong smell, but I wouldn't call it vanilla. In fact, I'm not sure what I would cal it, hmmm...It is definitely potent at first, but it fades after about a half hour. I used it this morning and I can't even smell it now. HTH!!

Thanks, Farrah! Few more questions...

Some reviewers said that after one or a few uses the pump got clogged and they couldn't unclog it. Have you run into any problems so far?

Also, how much do you use so you don't get the grey hair look? And if you use too much does it look greasy?

Thanks again! smile.gif

I didn't think it smelled like vanilla either. I really hate the smell but Farrah's right - it does fade. Mine got clogged a few times but was fine after I ran the nozzle under hot water. The more annoying thing was when the aerosol ran out and there was still product left in the can! I didn't have any problems with it making my hair look gray or greasy. I usually just used it on the front of my hair. You are supposed to brush your hair after applying it so that should help distribute it better.

that drives me bananas.  i have 3 1/2 bottles in my bathroom just sitting there.

the smell to me is sort of woodsy.  it's strong, not vanilla, but it does go away.

I agree it's not really vanilla but I think the scent is pretty strong. I actually don't love this product as much as I was hoping I would, I think it might be because I'm blonde and so I actually like the cheapie one I get at CVS (I think it's Psssst) because not only does it soak up the oil it also makes my roots less obvious (it also doesn't smell at all).
