i saw this in person in one of the stores i was in today and am intrigued by it because it so closely resembles the coveted balanciaga bag that is talked about around here.

what do you think of it?  good purchase?  anyone have it?

I think a couple of girls here have it...it seems really functional but has never really appealed to me. I like the clyde style better.

i don't like the side pockets on the clyde.  i think that is why i prefer the trigger (in pewter!)

i think i am gonna get it...

i think they're really cute but think the style will seem dated sooner than the balenciaga, which seems more classic to me for some reason.

I have the medium trigger in pewter... gave it to myself late last spring after much deliberation and a short stint with the Lush knockoff version (which didn't even come close, not one bit).

Of all the bags I own, I probably carry this one the most.  The multiple compartments make it so easy to keep things organized and the color is punky yet muted enough to wear during the day.  The color is unbelievably neutral.  People ask me about it all the time.  I wore it the other day with my new glen-plaid express editors (beige with turquoise, brown glen plaid), a turquoise silk tunic and a brown wrap sweater and all people could talk about was the darn bag.
This is one bag purchase I have not regretted.  I was going to go for the smaller one, but this one - though bigger than my other bags - is really the perfect size for me.  I can fit a small notebook, pen, a small bottle of water plus the usual wallet, cell, keys, powder, lip gloss, etc.
One more thing: owning both the Balenciaga Le Dix motorcycle bag and this one, I have to say they're completely different bags and I see almost no resemblance.  Probably in part because I chose tab instead of tassel pulls.

I give a huge thumbs up to this bag!

i have a botkier trigger bag that i've owned since late 2002/early2003. it's probably my favorite bag in my collection. i use it constantly it and always get compliments on it. i have it in a small size in a beautiful rich brown leather that they dont' seem to offer anymore. i have to say the quality of these bags are really amazing. also all the different compartments are so useful, and after all this time, it's still a compliment-getter! people are very drawn to it.

i also don't really see the connection between trigger and balenciaga. i guess the tassels are one thing, but i feel that the trigger bag is a much softer/less edgier bag. i also have the tabs and not the tassels, which i prefer.

i say get it! i haven't regretted it at all.

i have been seriously considering getting one for a while now.  I'm glad to see that I'm not alone - and to see such great reviews! You should get one!

Naturally I like the Balenciaga MUCH better, but I have liked this Botkier for a while. Very nice, do you think you will get it?
