Kasil jeans review - great for curvy girls
Permalink Closed

I bought these jeans in January at the Girlshop sale and I wanted to post a review because I really like them.  They are the Johanna bootcut style in Atlantic wash, regularly $145.

The color is darker than it appears in the photo and there is a bit of fading on the thighs, not too much though.  It is subtle enough that I can still wear them to work - I usually stay away from any kind of "distressed" jeans at work because even tho I'm in a casual office, I do need to look nice and clean.  Kasil claims the rise is 8 inches, but they seem a little bit lower than my other jeans with a similar rise.  The back is actually cut about 2 inches higher and I don't get a gap when I sit down in them.

I don't know what it is about these jeans, but they work really well on my body.  I am somewhat short and super curvey.  I usually have a really hard time with jeans because of my hips, but these look great on me.  I suspect they are cut a little roomier in the thighs and ass than some higher end jeans.  The V shape on the pockets makes my butt look really nice too, it is really slimming.

I found them to be tts.  I did have to have them hemmed a couple inches.

Damnit. Now I want them. I'll be good and wait for the next Girlshop code. *sigh*
