who's up to this challenge? :)

Got this off eBay this morning (I said in another thread it's a rampage - it is). It's 100% silk, brand is Ann-Louise Roswald. Outfit ideas? I mean, I am having difficulty getting beyond the idea of just plain jeans, as the blouse is such a statement in itself, but if any mavens have any bright ideas I am all ears...!

Here's an acution link, there's a couple more pictures: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5360410328&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

so pretty! i got that one that they had at gap body before x-mas that is very similar, but a bit shorter.  mine is the reddish-coral and cream and gold, and i wore it with cream colored tuxedo trousers (the slouchy woool/silk ones from j.crew).  your top would maybe look good with black ones...

Strangely, I have VERY few black trousers. Like, possibly only 1 pair. Do you think charcoal grey would work? I have quite a few in that colour.

I see khaki pants (the light khaki) or black pants.  I'm not sure how gray would look with those colors.  How about white pants also?

Love those black sandals LMonet - thanks for posting all that!

Do we think khaki pants would work, then? Light, as LSU suggested? Because I have quite a few pairs of khaki (coloured, not necessarily cargo-styled) pants...

oooh...pretty top, Mia.

I have a similar one that I have paired with dark grey pants, and it kind of gives it a business-vibe.

What style pants, Escrime? I'm actually kind of trying to *avoid* the business-vibe (I don't work in an office etc.) - I am thinking of ways to make this less dressy/formal/business rather than more. I'd like to wear it with some wide-legged pants, cotton or linen maybe...eh, it's difficult, I'm going to have to wait til it gets here and then try it out with different stuff, I think.

I like the idea of white pants with black sandals like LMonet posted, kind of a resort feel. I'd wear a big beaded necklace. I don't think I would wear khaki pants.

very similar in style to the Editors from Express.  I actually wore it to a meeting with a client, so it definitely was pretty business-y.

what about pinstriped pants to contrast with the flowers?  pinstripes or just different shade stripes like these gap pants:

otherwise, jeans would be good.  not so creative, but good.

Mia report back when you get this because I'm in love with it now after looking at all the options.  I might have to start looking for one for myself.
