Bleeding suede and how to fix it
Permalink Closed

I have a teal suede bag that doesn't have any sort of fabric protection on it.  While I'm not terribly stressed about the bag getting damaged, I am worried about it damaging my clothes since it has a tendency to leave a faint teal stain on my side when I carry it.  I just purged my closet again and considered getting rid of it, but I think I'd carry it more if it didn't stain!

Would scotch guard or another similar suede spray help lock in the color?  Otherwise I'm going to foist it off on some other poor soul via Goodwill ...

What's coming to my mind is one of those sprays you can put on suede boots. Maybe that would help. There should be some all around suede protector out there somewhere.
