I have discovered that I am a huge fan of the color brown lately...I tried this on today at a boutique and the SAs kept convincing me to buy it, but I wasn't completely sold. I want to wear it to work (with a plain cami underneath, of course).


Thoughts? It's Louis Verdad, and it's $101 at the boutique I went to.


Also, does anyone have sizing info for his line...the shirt I tried on was an L and I'm usually a S at BR/Gap and a "true" size 6 (whatever the heck that means ). I thought it was a bit on the large side, but the SAs said that was the right size for me.

It's not special enough for the price. And SAs lie, so if it feels like the size isn't right, it probably isn't. Sorry to be so blunt. I would save the money, though.

Its cute but not that different- I bet you could find something similar for a whole lot less... maybe try forever 21 or charlotte russe or one of those typ store? they always seem to have that style of shirt there...

It's not appealing to me, especially not for 100 bucks. But if you really love it go for it.

I don't like it at all. It looks like something from Arden B I got a few years ago. It's still hanging in my closet and I've worn it twice I think. And it was only around $30-40. You can find much cuter brown things for that much money, imo.

SAs will always tell you it looks good and "it fits perfectly"....IMO I am not a huge fan of the pattern, you can do better!

Not a fan of the top. The print just puts me off and you could get something much nicer for $100.

Thanks for all your opinions. I did not get the top and I was really iffy to begin with. And I kinda figured the SAs weren't really telling the truth after the fabric started to bag in the back and my bra showed out the v-neck of the top.
