Removing stains or dyeing oer them?

I wore my new WHITE Burberry bikini for one day and it was accidentally put in the wash with colors by the new hubby.  Well, something stained the top a slightly browninsh orange color.  Maybe from my new black Nike jacket?  It was the only other new item in the wash.

I've tried dousing it in Shout and washing 3 times already.  It's gotten slightly better.

What to do?  Do you think it's possible to remove the stain or to dye bathing suit material to another color?  so sad.... cry.gif

Can you bleach it? If it is solid white you could probably try that. Or try putting a little bleach water on the spot and washing it.

Maybe try using a Clorox bleach pen?

Don't use bleach, if you do you are just asking for trouble. Go get a product called Zout. It is in the aisle with all of the laundry items. Zout gets out every kind of stain imaginable. We used it to get out blood (fake and real), makeup, nasty smells, dye from other clothing, yellow under arm stains, etc. when I worked in the costume shop in college. It is also what the costume people used to clean the grease paint off the costumes in the Broadway production of Cats. I cannot tell you what an awesome product it is. As an FYI though, you need to saturate the stain with it and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Once it is washed see if the stain is gone. You may need to repeat the cycle, but keep doing it and do not put the bikini in the dryer at all. Heat will make matters worse because it bakes the stain in. Good luck!!!
