I am thinking about switching mascaras. I've been using Maybelline Define-a-lash (the bright green tube with the rubbery wand), which I love but I find it dries out quickly and starts to get clumpy after about a month.

I've tried Dior, Lancome and Benefit and haven't been overly impressed with any of them. I am thinking about using another drugstore brand as I've had better luck with Maybelline than higher end ones I've tried.

Anybody use a good drugstore brand mascara?
Can anyone review the Covergirl Lash Blast?

I was going to suggest Lash Blast before I read the bottom question! I seriously love it. It's the best mascara I've ever tried. The first day I used it, I put on a couple coats and when I stepped away from the mirror, I was super surprised at the difference and actually took it off and reapplied because I thought it looked too much like I had fake lashes.

I tried Maybelline Colossal Volum Express - it was pretty good for a drugstore mascara.

Also was really impressed with this
 Lights, Camera, Lashes!
It reminds me of a less dramatic DiorShow but not as drying.

I also love CoverGirl Lash Blast - it's amazing!  I have pretty short eyelashes, and when I put this on SO was like "woah, your eyelashes look amazing!".  I've tried pretty much every mascara and this is by far my fav.  It stays put, doesn't flake, or smudge.  I highly recommend.

I have just converted to Stila mascara. I never thought twice about it but I got a sample and have fallen in love. It's one of the best that I've tried so far because it makes my lashes super long and soft looking

Time and time again I have gone back to L'oreal Voluminous mascara. I love the curved brush one and the newer "Carbon Black" color they have. I've tried Chanel, Lancome, Dior, MAC, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Fiberwig (which I do like also), but for an item with such a short shelf life - drugstore brand is the way to go IMHO. Target even has 2 packs on specials sometimes. hth

Additional note: Even a couple of makeup artists I have used agree that Voluminous is their favorite.

I love this! I like it better than CG Lash Blast.

ETA: I also really like Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara. It has one of those comb brushes which I normally hate, but this one is easy to work with and gives me false-looking lashes.

I think I'm the only one who is not impressed with Lash Blast. The best mascara I've ever tried so far I can't find anymore. I do think it was made by Wet n' Wild though. I'm usually limited because I won't wear black or even black/brown. So I'm still on the lookout for new ones to try.

I was also going to suggest Lash Blast before I even finished reading your post.
