Has anyone had eyelash extensions? yay/nay?

I used to get them. My advice - ONLY do the top lashes, dont do the bottoms. Do the "natural" look they offer, because the "glamor" style usually looks tottally over the top.

Also , make sure you wash your face at night with a cleanser that wont break down the glue bond, and also you really cant wear mascara or eyeshadow with them becuase it gets them so dirty they dont last long.

That being said they are AMAZING, once you get the hang of taking care of them they can easily last 6 weeks. everytime I see myself in pictures when I had them it makes me want to run out and get them again.

killa - where do you live? where would you be going to get them? i can't afford these but I'm fascinated by them. I sometimes think about trying to get a part-time job in a lash bar just so I can get em for free!

I did them and LOVED them. They really looked amazing and I wish I could afford to keep getting them touched up.

ETA: I bought a special mascara that you're supposed to use with eyelash extensions, and that worked fine for me. It helped blend my real lashes with the extensions.
