fun first dates?

I've gone to poker games on dates before and that's kinda fun. The free kind that are at local bars? Sounds weird but it's actually a lot of fun. Gets rid of any awkwardness that might be around for a second date. Worked for me! Now we go every Tuesday and it's "our thing" (with this one guy - but you know about all that). It's fun because if one of us loses - me - we can cheer the other one on. Plus, there's always drinking involved and you can do dinner or other places before or after.

Is this Anthony?

Let me also suggest carnivals or fairs. So much fun to go and eat cotton candy and hold hands on the ferris wheel. Maybe he'll win you a Gay Bear!!!!!

Bowling can be fun. Especially if your but is one of your better features. And it gives you a chance to see if he takes himself too seriously, or can relax and just have a good time doing something so uncool it's cool.

I've also had good first dates at the art museum. Although I don't particularly like art.

I love the poker idea! It reminded me that a bar in my hometown has a trivia night, and that would be a blast for a first date (second, whatever). Glad you found someone worth a second date, by the way!

OK, so we decided on ice skating I think, and then coffee and dessert after...awwwww, how cute huh? ;)

Tina ~ it IS Anthony! He is SUCH a cutie! OMG! We talk on the phone all the time now! He's gonna ruin my game man. lol! No seriously though, he's a super nice guy, I hope it continues this way...and gay bear! lol! I can't believe I am gay bear...maybe it was the question I answered that said someting about sparkly things, whatever :P

and dizzy going to the museum was one of our choices too, maybe we'll do that on our third :)

It had to be the focus on sparkly things that got ya gay bear. Trust me, it's better than nihlist bear. Its tummy was all black!

I have not seen patrick...we tried to get together this weekend but it didn't work out..I'm afraid that after my ice skating party w/ Tony, I will lose intrest in Pat...sigh...I still want to keep him as "the backup" though, hehe. We'll se how things go tomorrow. I don't want to get too ahead of myself ;)

And Tom I met on friday night and we got coffee @ Borders yesterday. We are strictly buds though. He's a fun and really nice guy. He knows I'm dating others and he is dating someone too, so it's all cool.

My bf and I go to the public greenhouse (conservatory) for "dates" all the time. I don't think he likes it as much as me (I'm a HUGE plant fanatic), but he still has fun (he always gets a big smooch under the waterfall

). This is one of our regular places to go in the winter. It's so relaxing and refreshing to be in a warm, humid plant-filled paradise, when it's cold & nasty outside. Don't know if that sounds lame, but it's a nice sat or sun afternoon thing to do.
