Nothing for me...though maybe I'll skip the stupid Superbowl and go to TJ Maxx.

My husband's birthday is in two weeks, so my sister and I went on a mission to get him some clothes that a) aren't 5 years old; and b) don't have any sort of sports team logo on them. (Just so you guys understand: his current favorite shirt has a Coors Light logo on the front () and a bleach stain on the sleeve ().)

He is very picky, though -- he'll probably say it "looks gay" and make me take it back. But at least I tried. I got him:

Check it outclick for details(Pique A/O Stripe Slim Fit click for larger viewShiled<--sort of similar to this; diff. color and logo, same idea

Oh, and I got him this for Valentine's Day: Live in Buffalo: July 4th 2004 (CD & DVD) b/c our wedding song is on it, and a bunch of songs we used to love waaaay back when we first met

I owe SFClinevandy for finding those necklaces first, I must add. I also type in quartz and jade to find stuff. Just be careful b/c I ordered one from a seller that stated it was 16 in. and it was 12 in.! Well my new camera won't work with my apple right now and our high speed internet went out so I am on dial up right now. I will add pics of my purchases this week after they fix it! I bought my CHANEL sunglasses and love them!

I also hit NY & Co. and got some really cute accessories:
A yellow/green jade necklaces.
Round Turq. earrings
Gold filagree earrrings with coral drops.
Kelly Green eyelet leather hobo bag.

Tj maxx:
Green pashmina $14.99
Seersucker/madras plaid belt $9.99

Loehmann's: Kathin Argiro "marilyn" halter dress in pink w/green tie.

Stein Mart: White circle skirt with green eyelet pattern overlay and pink grosgrain ribbon detail.

I'm adding to my list of purchases:

from Gap

also from Gap

Kenneth Cole Reaction Lead the Wayfrom Macy's

from Forever 21, a basic black cami.  The material is dressy, maybe for going out or for underneath a sweater or blazer.

My frustration continues in searching for work pants....I'm so picky!

I went to ArdenB today and found out that all of their sale stuff was an additional 75% off!!! I got a pink suede purse, a pink long sleeve shrug ( the kind that just goes across your back and shoulders-does not tie in the front), a cream tunic sweater, a double v-neck purple airy light sweater, and a crotchet tangerine double v-neck sweater (perfect for spring and summer evenings).  I got all that for a mere $88!!!!!  It was worth breaking my loooooooon shopping ban.  I also finally got my Campus  Frye boots in this color   I must say I am a bit worried that I didn't pick the most versatile color.  What color do you girls have?

shpgqueenet, I Arden B. 75% sales. . Also, I have my Campus Fryes in Saddle. I think yours are plenty versatile too, since dark brown is such a basic color.

Adding to my purchases, I also got a pair of AG jeans. I tried them on Saturday and have been obsessed with them ever since so I just ordered them. And I bought a big print of NYC to hang over my couch. So now, shopping ban is in full effect until March 31 (my birthday!). (unless of course, any of the stuff on my spring list happens to go on sale first!)

Denim mini skirt

Soft cream sweater with hood

Charcoal gray double-breasted cardigan

And now I am officially back on probation until March.

On Saturday the bf announced that he was taking me to BR to get my anniversary gift so we picked out the suit.  I say "we"picked out because I showed him everything that I wanted and let him pick out what he wanted to buy me since it was his money and his present to me.

When we got home he gave me my surprise gift:

CARLOS by Carlos Santana RoarIn hindsight I think that he picked the suit because it matched the shoes, but that was okay by me because it was the most expensive thing that I wanted, hee-hee!!

Bought this at The Gap. It's really much cuter in person. They have it in four colors: black, brown, pink and beige.

Wow, looks like a lot of us had a big shopping weekend! I got this from old navy:

And some underwear from Target. I may get another pair of jeans when I go home this weekend...either Citizens of Humanity or James, or maybe a brand I haven't tried yet...not that I need a new pair of jeans but they're just so hard to resist...
