Frye Dorados question

Well, I ordered it b/c Shoemall is having a 20% off which ends today (26th) so I'll know soon enough, yikes!

If I like them I'm going to have to resell the tall Corso Comos I got from Revolve. They are amazingly comfortable b/c of the gel insole but I sort of like the Dorados better? I didn't wear them but I think I might be too late to return them, darn it.

I don't think they are pebbled, it does not state so in the description. I got my new boots yesterday in the mail and they are pebbled leather and fabulous. They are pretty similar, so maybe you would want to consider these:
They are the Paige tall cuffed boots.

I definitely like the Dorados better then the Corso Comos.

Oh yeah, I love the Paige cuffed in olive but the shape of the foot is different, I wish they made the Dorado shape in olive!

Well, the Dorados arrived today. The finish is nice but the toebox is wierd...it's much darker than the rest of the foot part and ends in a straight horizontal line rather than gradually changing shade. They also look really fat from the front. I must be just super picky but even tightening the buckle didn't improve the look so I sent them back. (already!)

I have 3 pairs of other Fryes and love them but in this particular set of purchaces the Corso Comos were much nicer IRL. They were also instantly comfortable. I am so impressed after comparing and the price was like $200 less than the Fryes ???

Since I MUST, MUST have new Fryes, I ordered these instead but am furious about the shipping, 5% of the total (full price ugh) order amount. furious

but this is the only place I can get them and even so they are backordered in my size. bleh

I am in love....I hope.
