Insect Repellent

After finding five bug bites on my upper thigh last night, and at least five more on my hand and fingers this morning AND getting stung by a wasp on the inside of my upper arm this afternoon, I've decided it's time to get some insect repellent.

I must whine too that the itching has been driving me crazy and the wasp sting hurt like hell! It actually hurt for several hours and my entire under arm is still tender to the touch.

Oh yes, and I must mention that West Nile has been found in the area where I live so I've been super paranoid.

So to prevent such a crappy day from happening again I would really appreciate any recommendations for insect repellent. I have never used any that I can remember so I don't know what is good. TIA!

The best I've ever used if the Avon's Skin So Soft - I've never gotten around to buying it, but when I use someone else's I always notice how well it works! And it doesn't stink like other bug sprays either!

I HATE insect repellent, but mosquitoes LOVE me, so...
I've been using the new OFF with cornstarch. It doesn't feel icky on the skin. But, I also like to spray my pant hems to keep bugs away, and it will leave cornstarch dust on them, so you wouldn't be able to do that.
