Is anyone else creeped out by this?

Iit is a little creepy, but a good idea. Funerals homes get their business when people are really vulnerable and if the person had not planned ahead then you can get screwed on prices. A big deal was made about it by funeral homes in my area. They were mad because they were losing a lot of money because of this. They were refusing to do business with a family if they had already purchased their own casket.

I remember reading some articles about this a while back. Actually, I think there was a thread on FH about it. The whole coffin/wake/burial routine gives me the willies, but I'm not really bothered by them selling them at Costco. I guess I figure: Costco, funeral home, what's the difference? The coffin concept creeps me out either way but as long as they're empty I'm fine with them.

I mean it's weird that a store that sells food and stuff also sells coffins, but funerals are so freakin expensive that it makes sense.
