Good deal at Express

Starting tomorrow until 2/20 (or something), you can get $15 off any purchase ($15 or more) if you try on their new editors or correspondent pants. I got my card in the mail, but the SAs were giving them out instore, too.

I know some of you hate Express, but they have some cute tops for Spring. I for one adore the correspondents and I am so glad they're bringing them back!

Halleybird, how are the Correspondents different from the Editors?  I have tried on the Editors and they don't fit me right.  I was so disappointed because they come in so many different choices.  Do the Correspondents come in as many choices?

They used to...but then they discontinued them. Hopefully they will bring them back in all the colors. They have a higher rise than the editors, a looser leg and slightly more flare. They are supposed to be for curvier figures (not me) but they fit me like long, slouchy trousers. I like the editors OK, but I  looove the correspondents. I didn't discover them until they were clearing out their stock. Supposedly these will be the "new" correspondents, though -- who knows what they've changed.

Thanks, Halleybird.  My problem with the editors is that when they fit in the hips they are too big in the waist.  I am slightly curvy so I will be intrested to try on the correspondents.

I just got the card in the mail today too. I haven't set foot inside an Express for a while so I guess the card is an incentive for me to actually go now. I tried in the Editors before and they didn't really fit me right either. The Correspondents sound intriguing though.

Speaking of Express, I bought a lot of stuff at the winter sale that they had, mens shirts and sweaters and some cute things for me. Well a week later I went to see if I can get a price adjustment and I got almost $100 back. Everything was marked down 50% more. I got dress shirts for like $10 instead of $20 and a seersucker (sp?) jacket for $10 instead of $30. I guess they just wanted to get rid of all their stuff.
