Did anyone buy these Michael Kors sandals last summer?  How do they fit?  Did they last? 



I was thinking about them all summer, but could not bring myself to spend $160 on super-casual sandals that really just look like birkenstocks (I'd buy the birkenstock version, but I haven't seen them in gold or silver).  I'm still thinking about them, but I'm not sure that I can justify that price.  I can't find them on ebay or anywhere else for cheaper.  Has anyone seen a cheaper version?


Should I break down and buy them for spring/summer?  I wear jeans almost all the time (even in summer) and I think they'd look really cute with a beat up pair of jeans and a hippie-ish top.

These are Steve Madden for $60. They only show the pink online but I bought a bronze pair in the store a few weeks ago in Miami. V comfortable and cute

A girl in my class last year had the steve maddens. They were cute. For some reason she never had a pedicure, but they were cute (I don't get that.... just don't wear sandals if you don't have time to do your toes...)

I kinda wasn't into them last year because I really never could bring myself to like any birk-related... I guess I'lve always associated that look with grunge. I saw the KORS ones on some girls last year and I thought it was a cute look with jeans. Also they seemed like a sturdier sandal than most of the flip flops I wear. I was thinking about getting these from Victoria's Secret for my upcoming vacation!

YAY VACATION! :)

$38 I like gold.

i bought the silver pair (on sale!!!) that tara posted and i'm going to buy the gold ones from victorias secret that dot posted.  i can't decide what color i want, so i'll wait till they both come and keep one of them.  i'll let you know what i decide...


and i'll stop by steve madden this weekend to check out the bronze ones.


does anyone have a vic. secret code for free shipping?

So I got the birkenstocks in silver and the VS version in gold and unfortunately both have to go back.  The silver ones were really cute but waaaay to big (and they were a 40, which is my normal size!!).  I was really disappointed with the VS gold ones - they're just not as cute as they look in the picture, they look horrible on my foot, and they are totally uncomfortable.  I'm so bummed...


but the search for a Michael Kors copy continues...

I bought them last summer and love them so much. They are amazing, the are still in outstanding condition and i really truly wear them a ton - they're one of my most worn shoes in my closet.
