Two years ago today, I had my surgery... I guess that means that means I've been cancer free for two years. Three more years to go and I'm in the clear! This whole Christina Applegate thing has really been hard for me actually -- making me relive what I went through. It's actully been a tough week. Seems like yesterday that this all went down...

Wow, it's been two years? You're a really strong woman, D. Definitely someone to be admired! Happy two year anniversary.....we'll be here to congratulate you on your five year too.
I can't believe it's been two years, but you're that much closer to the end of this! I'm sorry the Christina Applegate ordeal is making you relive it, but the point is that you did live through it and you're hear to help spread the word and save more women. You have always been incredibly strong and this is a great milestone to be celebrated!

Wow! I can't believe it's been two years!!! Congratulations and here's to the next 3 and a hundred more beyond that (Ok, maybe not literally one hundred, but you know what I mean )
Congrats! Oddly enough I saw this update on Facebook, the one time a month I check there! I think you should celebrate this day every year. You're quite the brave woman, D.
Congrats on the 2 year mark, D. Unbelievable! When I saw the post, I thought "she couldn't be talking about her surgery. It wasn't that long ago". I think it's still pretty fresh in our minds too. You're an inspiration!
Happy 2 years. Your story is very inspiring. I think you should do something big to celebrate and make it an annual thing - like go for cocktails with your girlfriends or do a spa day.

I agree, I should be celebrating this yearly. I guess I didn't feel that way last year because I recovering from my ovary/tube removal. It kind of dawned on me this year that I should celebrate the yearly milestones. I guess I have done my best to shut it out in any way, shape or form, but the absence of cancer should be celebrated.
The emerald earrings were actually a gift to myself for this occasion. And my husband and I are going up north to stay at a really cool B&B on Friday, followed by staying at a relative's cottage on lake michigan (with my dad ) for the rest of the weekend. The B&B is in walking distance to a microbrewery so we plan to whoop it there
Congrats on the 2 year mark, D. Unbelievable! When I saw the post, I thought "she couldn't be talking about her surgery. It wasn't that long ago". I think it's still pretty fresh in our minds too. You're an inspiration!
Ditto to everything Cricket said. I really can't believe it's been two years already, either.
