We are going to a birthday party for my bf's niece this weekend who is turning 3.

She has more toys than a Toys R Us warehouse. What can I buy for a 3 year old girl that's not toy related?

I was thinking about maybe a book. Know of any creative and/or unusual books that she wouldn't have already?
I assume that she probably has Dr Seuss and things like that.

what about something like bath tub crayons/paints that you can use in the bath? and a cute little hooded towel?
or some art supplies that are washable and non-staining, like the color wonder markers or finger paints. play-doh is always fun for that age, too. just browse the art supply section at target and you'll find loads of options.

 I don't know if this falls in the creative/unusual category, but I love Tomie dePaola books. They are sweet stories and the illustrations are gorgeous, so Mom and Dad won't mind reading the same book over and over smile.gif
