I know a number of people here are fans (especially erin!) and I've never stopped loving her wedges from a few seasons ago* so I was really sad to see this:

Fashion designer Jane Mayle is calling it quits on her much-beloved clothing line Mayle. An "out of control fashion system" is to blame. WWD: "The Mayle holiday-resort collection that ships to stores this November will be her last and the boutique she operates at 242 Elizabeth Street here is slated to close in February."

*I am crossing my fingers that I finally scored my size on Ebay and am anxiously awaiting these:

Well, it looks like she got one last hoorah because she is featured prominently in one of this month's magazines (can't remember if it's Lucky, Allure, or NYT-Mag).

I thought it was a bit odd since it was only a few years ago that she was supposedly being considered for Chloe and Refinery 29 is speculating that she has signed a deal with a big company:
