Want a vacation...have a budget, HELP!

Ok so since I can't go on spring break because I am on the dance team at college, me and my friends are going to go on vacation as soon as school ends in May. I was wondering if we can go somewhere out of the US, or Hawaii, for under $700? Everything I've looked up has been like $1000. Are there any deals I could get to get it to be around $700?? Someone suggested going to a travel agent, so I will keep that in mind.

I want to go for one week, if possible...and I'd be leaving from Chicago (O Hare). I just want to be on the beach, eat good food, go to some clubs, but mostly do fun things like maybe snorkeling, or jet skiing, shopping, going on tours. But all that extra stuff I know will cost a lot of money. I'm looking for the flight and hotel to be under $700 (maybe get an all-inclusive plan?) or however that works.

I know it's been awhile since your last posting but...

Since planning for my Hawaii trip, I've found a ton of sites that have really coool deals so I thought I'd pass them on to you and see what you can find for yourself...

Travel Zoo

Definitely click on the Top 20 since they can have some KILLER deals.

Priceline

They might have vacation packages that MAY suit your need. Although I wouldn't use them for airplane tickets (weird take-off hours, imo), they can be gooood for hotels. You will have to research alittle to see what hotels you'll probably get and for how much but I can hook you up with some links that can help you out.

I think this website is way cool:

Travelocity Dream Map

Remember to change your departure city (it's on Dallas by default) and you can enter how much you'll want to spend on your max fare. It does have date limitations (like traveling on a weekday instead of the weekends) but the fares are cheap cheap! For example, I found that if you wanted to travel to Miami, Fl, you can go on American Airlines for $233 and the link I found lets you travel on any day of the week in May. Here's the link to my example above... Chicago - Miami Pick any travel date and return date and you can keep it at less than $250. Just see how much your max fare will get you anywhere around the world! Pretty nifty!

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Hope this helps ya on your trip!

I highly recommend http://www.go-today.com. Lots of great deals there. I used them for a trip to Rome once and was very pleased. HTH!

Last november I did a 6-day all inclusive trip to Dominican Republic for $550.  Included food, drinks, all activities and the hotel was a hilton, so it was nice.  We found this deal on www.cheapcaribbean.com.

Good Luck finding one.
