So I had my roots done this weekend and highlights.  This is the first time I had my stylist do two different color highlights and I don't like how it came out.  I'm blonde and now I find my hair looks too dark for me.  I prefer to be light blonde and now my hair looks more dirty blonde.  What to do?  Is there anything I can do at home to lighten up the color?  Should I call my stylist and tell her I don't like it?

Definitely call her! She should fix for free or at least fix for only the cost of the product. I wouldn't try to do anything about it myself - it's always harder to get lightening right on your own, and you don't want to fry your hair.

Call her and see what she can do.  If you don't like it then you shouldn't have to keep it until you go back.
