Business Casual Boat Trip
Permalink Closed

So DH's firm is having some stupid boat trip next week and the dress is business casual. I'm stumped on what to wear. The weather in Chicago is around 60 at night so cool on the boat, I'll need either something I can layer or long sleeves. Help! No real budget but I'd like it to be somethting I can wear again. TIA!

I just got the fall preview jcrew in and LOVE many of the ideas in there. How about this?

A nice casual, dress would work, with a wrap for when it gets chilly.  Or even capri pants and a cute blouse with a cardigan as a layering piece.  Wear shoes with a substantial heel so your not teetering around

I agree with the advice above (good slacks that aren't too dressy, blouse with some nice details, cardigan), but I'd go with flat shoes that have rubber soles. Safety first!
