Weekend Shopping
Permalink Closed

Considering I am on a shopping ban, I shouldn't be starting this thread, but I went on a women's retreat this weekend with some ladies from my church and after it ended, of course we had to go shopping.  We went to Target and I bought these shoes.  I really "needed" them for this spring/summer since some I bought similar to these last summer from JCP tore up.  I technically didn't use the money I am saving for spring shopping since I used some the cash I carried for the trip, so I really didn't break my ban. HEE! HEE!

Don't you love the way I justified my purchase? - LOL!!  But, they were only $19.99 plus tax.

Old Navy Tees, I have actually never tried their tees and they are longer which is great! Cute colors too, so I bought the green, yellow, white and black too!

Old Navy Pants, but I am losing the belt.
I am about to order some stuff online.

From Target

*Just as cute as this one from J Crew but $148 cheaper

Off Ebay, I won

This skirt

For some reason, I really want beaded necklaces. I won this lot which has some really cute ones, but all I really wanted was the white and green in the first picture.

I searched for ethnic, boho skirt on ebay. They also have the same skirt at Victoria's Secret, and Boston Proper if you want to pay a little more and not worry about an auction. It's also at Shop Intuition also and you can get a discout with a 'Lucky Breaks' code but I didn't realize it was there until AFTER I won it on ebay.

Oh, and to add to my previous I totally forgot about my drunk purchases on Friday night. I decided I needed cheap, new bathing suits. Instead of being sober and practical and going to Target the next day and try these on, I just ordered them online. I though it was a brilliant idea at the time. I also thought the bottoms were cute and old fashion looking. They will either be really cute and unique or totally unflattering and frumpy. I'll let everyone know either way. The moral of the story is don't go online swimsuit shopping when you've been drinking

I went to Boston (woo hoo!) this weekend and hit up H&M.  I got...

  • A green, knee length, Mexican-y hippie skirt.  I didn't try it on and it's not that cute, but it's comfy and I'll wear it because of that.

  • Gold bracelet with sea shell charms

  • Silver locket

  • Plain green sweatshirt

I also spent $654399754525340973 on food.  But it was worth it.

SFC-I love the skirt and necklaces.  What seller are the necklaces from

I also got these sweatpants in liu of juicys that I was thinking about: from American Apparel in grey. I am wearing them now and so far am loving them they are really low and really comfy.

Also late night DSW shopping last night (they are open till 11pm in Union Square!) I found these boots: but in all black.

I also found a pair of earring to match the top above from a street vendor. Thats about it.

I bought SaltWorks Avenue A jeans

a funky black sweatshirt from Dish. Sorry, its really hard to describe but it has with long ribbed sleeves and cut out leaf/vine shapes filled in with pale blue material on the left side, from under the bust to waist. Its very cool and unique, but so soft and comfortable. I could not find a pic of it to save my life.

Also I spent a fortune at Lush, getting "Honey I washed the kids" soap, Bohemian Body Soap, Demon in the Dark soap and a free Butterball bath bomb.

I had an excellent weekend shopping.  I went to Dillard's which had their 75% off + additional 30% so I got a coral cord skirt, pink polo and teal off the shoulder tank for $19.59!

Then at Gap, I got a fair isle sweater in light brown and pink (my fave. color combo)

The next day I went to Sacramento shoe shopping.  I got boots for $20.  They kinda look like the Frye's that was posted recently.  Brown, round-toe and it hits mid-calf.
