Hey everyone,

I am looking to invest in a new bag and have been eyeing a couple of the Rrebecca Minkoff bags, I am debating the Nikki or the Matinee. Do any of you have either of these bags and what is your opinion on the style, quality, etc?

Also, do you know of any sites I could buy one of these from that has a decent coupon code? TIA!!smile

i had the matinee, but sold it -- only because i had another RM black bag and couldn't justify owning two. i LOVED the matinee, and it was really soundly built (much better than the morning after bag i have)...not seen the nikki but i think it doesn't zipper shut and that turns me off!

Thanks for the input, I didn't realize that the nikki doesn't have a zipper closure!

RM bags are amazing. I own about 7 of them.

The leather is amazing and very sturdy (especially the newer styles).

I own 3 matinees and 4 Nikkis. I know.. I'm an addicted mess.

These bags are very different.

The Matinee is a satchel roll bag type.. It fits over your shoulder but not for an extended period of time. Lots of pockets and easy to keep organized.

The Nikki is a great classic hobo.. Easily fits over the shoulder but no zipper and can easily turn into a bottomless pit.

Definately things to think about if you have to choose only one.
