I was just nosing about on Martha Stewart site and wanted to share this. The dishes remind me of the stuff Anthropologie sells.

so cute!! I seriously have to do that. I have a vanity that I'm about to start using regularly when I finally find a stool for it, I was just thinking this morning that I have to figure out a way to store my jewelry. I would love this!

That is sooo cute!  We're thinking of redoing our closet, but those dedicated jewelry drawers are too expensive for me.  This is a perfect - and flexible - alternative!

FWIW, have you ever checked out thriftstores for china?  Sometimes they have really lovely pieces, but I've never had an excuse to buy them before.

Asian markets will have the dishes for cheap, too.

Really like the idea.
I think you can find this kind of cups/minimugs also at the salvation army. I used to go from time to time, and sometimes found some very nice pieces of china smile

I need to make the rounds at my thrift stores and S. Army, but I have a couple pretty glass dishes that I bought at flea markets as a kid.

Also, I just bought a "Mini Angled Dish" at Target for $1.49. It's just white, and it's perfect for rings. There is no pic on their website, but it's in the aisle with the japanese sushi/teaset dishes if anyone's interested. I really wish I had a picture, because the angle makes it so perfect to see the jewelry well.

I'm redoing the bookcase in my room and that would be perfect! I have so much jewelry and I never wear it because it's never in view.

that is awesome. I am moving soon, so I might just do this. I should check out thriftstores for that look.

So cute - I would end up trashing it and the drawer would be a big ol' mess - but really cute!
