Comfortable hair bands

I love the look of thick hairbands like these:



but I always end up taking them out after only wearing them for an hour or two. The plastic (or whatever's inside) constantly pressing on the same spot by my ears all day long hurts! Does anyone have any suggestions for ones I can wear comfortably throughout the day?

I found a solution! There is a seller on ebay that makes the most comfortable headbands ever. I bought two from her shortly after I wrote this post and I've been wearing them constantly and I don't even feel them

Thanks for sharing!  I get sore behind the ears too - I tend to wear skinny headbands but this one is adorable!  I love that they're reversible!

I didn't even realize they were reversible until I got mine. She makes custom ones, too. I asked for some custom ones and within an hour or two she had listed them for me!

Basically, I'm in love with this etsy shop :)

thanks for posting those! they're pretty cute. I also have the same problem so I resorted to wearing skinny headbands instead.
