I'm a teacher at a high school and I have a couple of tattoos on my foot and ankle that I have to cover up. Last year, I went all year in pants with socks, I was also pregnant the entire school year so I wasn't feeling very creative. This year, I want to have more options. I'm thinking of tights or long boots to wear with skirts and dresses. The problem is that I have no idea what kind of shoes would be appropriate to wear with both pants and skirts. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I don't really have a limit but would like a couple pairs of shoes instead of one really expensive one...lol. Another thing, they must be comfortable because I'm on my feet all day. TIA
Have you considered Dermablend makeup? My cousin's bride wore it at her wedding to cover up her shoulder tattoo, and I didn't even know she had one until someone mentioned how well the makeup camouflaged it! Then you wouldn't have to worry about which shoes you would be able to buy.

Also tall, flat boots can be worn with skirts or pants - tucked over skinny pants or worn under trousers. Corso Como makes really comfortable cute ones.
In terms of shoes that work with both pants and skirts/tights, skirt length matters to me and so does fullness. I'm assuming your skirts are about knee length, not too poofy, and assuming black is best...here are some fairly tailored (school-appropriate) ideas around $100 or less:
Sorry there's so much patent. It's all I seem to find these days!
Thanks...all the ideas are really great. I'm hoping to go out next week to buy some shoes/clothes and now at least I have an idea of what to look out for. Thanks again!
