I'm trying to get the wording right on a bachelorette party invite. The invites have "hippy skulls" on them, which is to say that it's a rock 'n roll kinda of skull and crossbones but with a flower garland around the skull. It also has decorative swirls along the ride side of the invite. The invites are pink and the envelopes are black. If it sounds weird, it's not. It's actually pretty fun and sassy, which is just like the bachelorettes in question. (2 bachelorettes; it's a co-bachelorette party.)

I'm trying to make the wording of the invite tie in with the decor of the invitation itself. I'm going to list one of my drafts without telling you anything else about it and see if you get it. Please give me some ideas if you don't like it, praise if you do (so I don't worry it's not going to come across wrong), or something altogether if it needs it.

LOL...it's Toxic! It took me a second with the pronoun changes....

I'm pressed for time at the moment but there is an Elizabeth Bowen quote that says

"Fantasy is Toxic"

that might be a good tie-in- title...I think the quote goes on to talk about war or something...might want to leave that part out...ha-ha.

ditto.  maybe because Toxic came out a while ago and I don't remember ever knowing the lyrics to begin with.  It's not a song like "Like a Virgin" for example, at least not to me.

Maybe go with a Pirates of the Carribean related poem/quote? Like I know that the skull and crossbones sign means "toxic" but I associate it with pirates more.
