I had been interviewing with a few fashion companies but nothing seemed to pull through - it seems like they wanted more more more for less $$$. (my 2nd interview was a total snobbish disaster, I wanted to cry during it).
So I ended up accepting a position working for a company that invented an electronic device that allows children with cerebral palsey, autism, etc to communicate.
The company is young and hip, I negotiated a 13% raise, and I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks for our annual Sales meeting.
I start Monday, I just wanted to share my excitement!
Sounds very cool! I think now, that every bad job I've had, there was weirdness in the interview. It's like dating. You don't want the people who can't make it through that introductory session without being mean.
Good luck with the new job and the travel! It sounds really fun.
