As I mentioned before in a previous thread, I'm going to a destination wedding in May where I will be spending a few nights in Puerto Rico (Vieques actually). It will be a couple days of going out and probably hanging out at the beach or in the area with friends.. and I want to have lots of fun warm weather clothes that will be fun and festive but also really super comfortable and casual.

What do we think of this dress? It's Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. I can't really tell from the picture how it's supposed to look *on* but it's $150 marked down from $265.

I dont know, it dosen't look that pretty in the picture. I think you would definately have to try it on first.

OMG!!! I love, love, love 12th Street! It's my favorite brand of clothing. I can never afford anything but I always go to the local boutiques to get inspiration from their stuff. It's like they read my mind about what I would want to wear...


Anyway, to the dress. I like it a lot. I think it looks funky and cool. Definitely a "I look this great and didn't even try" dress. Wavy hair, sandals - beautiful. And $150 is a fantastic price for 12th street stuff. I say go for it! But keep in mind I'm inherently biased.

I LOVE it..


but my only concern is, what time of day is the wedding?


It could just my reaction to black dress...I typically think of them as formal and for evenings.


but I TOTALLY love the dress otherwise

oooooh gorgeous. my only concern would be if you have a large chest, it might make the star look funny... it looks fantastic on the model though! and i agree, that is a fantastic price for that dress... it looks very expensive too.
