Gosh, it's really tough right now. I was looking for one to take to Mexico & I gave up and ended out buying one at the resort I went to last week. I looked in two different malls (no time for boutique crawling) and did not see a single beach tote. They are slowly starting to appear online....

You could stuff an inexpensive one like that with a cute towel, flip flops, and a beach read.

These aren't necc. beach totes, but they're groovy... I'd use it for the beach -

The LL Bean boat and tote (from $14) - again, not revolutionary, but solid and the heart makes it cute... this is another that could be jazzed up by stuffing it with some beach stuff:
