i personally love them -- if you've got the legs! i'd definitely wear them in LA but i don't know about NY... not sure where you are located. i think $150 is very pricey though for cutoffs!!!

on a very hot day, they could work  with a gauzy loose fitting top and flat sandals.  but that price is ridiculous.

My legs are not skinny enough for these and never will be. And TR's rise is really low. I would feel like I was hanging out even if I was a stick.

I think the only reason Jessica was wearing them was because she is filming the movie right now. I can see them at the beach, and I do remeber a cute pic of Jenn Anniston last year wearing some, but hers were longer. If you have the body though, go for it!

The only time that they are not hoochie would be at the beach with swim suit and a pair of flip flops on.  In that situation I would consider them to be more surfer chic and I think that is an adorable look.

They are definitely only for girls with hot legs though:).

I think they're cute for a super-casual outfit, but $150 for a beach coverup is pretty steep. Maybe if you LIVE at the beach all summer...

hey girls, thanks for the feedback... the reason i ask is cuz there is currently a 25% off code for shopintuition (i know, still pricey!).  i live in LA & actually DO live at the beach all summer & it gets really hot.  i've been working out & think these would serve as a nice reward plus my legs are kinda skinny (not to toot my own horn, i actually think they are too skinny which another reason i'm working out) so i'm not really worried about that aspect.  i would mainly wear them to the beach, & running errands on super hot summer days.  anyways, thanks for all ur input!

I'm going to go with hoochie - sorry! I'm from a small Texas town though and I absolutely cannot stomach cut-offs. It reminds me of my scary small town all year long - not kidding. I'd def. take the other girls' advice on this one though!

I like them but could never wear them.  I say if you have the body for it why not!

only @ the beach, but $150 is too spendy for a cover-up.

Don't you have an old pair of jeans to DIY? I'd rather spend the $150 on something else.

the only jeans i would be willing to cut up are ones i don't like on me which would defeat the whole purpose.  but that's a good idea.... i mean, how much are true religion jeans themselves?  maybe i'll get a pair & DIY since i'm not crazy bout the crooked seams on them.  that way i wouldn't have to be on the waiting list till march (plus i could make them a lil longer than the precut ones)!  honestly, i just think the idea of designer cut offs is cute & funny & where i live, pretty appropriate.  but i can see how they are hoochie too... but i'm not gonna wear them to church!  i guess i'll wait since there's a much greater negative response to these than anticipated.  (oh, & if u missed my post, they are actually $112.50 w/ the code, but that's still pretty pricey!)
