Bloomie Nail - NYC
Permalink Closed

Went in 2 weeks ago for silk wraps... $80 later and after my nail polish smudge and I went back 3 times for them to fix it, a week later my thumb cracked completely (ouch). This week 2 nails broke in half (ouch) one was while opening a bag of bread. Then another nail cracked in half at work. I am never ever going back to the Bloomie Nail on 6th Ave between 14th and 15th Streets.

Good to know - I often pop in on little nail places in the city. FYI, I had a great experience at Nail's Noble (their weird punctuation, not mine) on Park Ave (next to Les Halles... I think it's at 23rd?) when I was in NYC last month. Terrific manicure, they had the colors in their arsenal memorized (unlike here in DC - I have used Essie Mademoiselle a gazilllion times and they never seem to be able to find it for me - Nail's Noble they knew exactly what I wanted). Plus, as i sat with my nails under the dryer they gave me a nice shoulder massage. If you find yourself in that area, check it out.

I also like Jenniette (I think that's it), near Union Sq.

I'm a big fan of Nail's Nobel. i always think it's nails niobe? whatever.

i go to  the one on 3rd between 83 and 84th i think. Had a great 10 min massage while my naisl dried. they always double check that your nails are filed evenly. i think that's important.
