Has anyone ever eater these? Oh My Oh My!! I can't stop eating them. There's a restaurant near where I live that makes these huge ones. I bring them home and whip up some whipping cream w/ a wee bit of maple syrup to dip the cookie in!! If you don't know what it is - it is crisp almond cookie with a doughy marzipan middle. Yummy!!! They have been all I've been thinking about lately. __________________

There is a small Italian bakery in my town and they make them. I couldn't agree with you more, they are extraordinary! I buy these, pignoli cookies and several different biscottis when I have dinner parties and want a light dessert. They are wonderful served with espresso or other coffees and an appertif like amaretto or Frangelico. __________________ ~Ally~
