Another Bra Question-For the smaller ladies
Permalink Closed

Ok. I know there have been many bra questions asked here. I did a search but couldn't find an answer to my question. Can you guys recommend a bra to wear under spaghetti-strapped camis? I'm assuming it would have to be a strapless bra, because I don't want straps showing. And I'm a 34A, so I have a problem with these types of bras staying up without straps. Comfort is a must, I don’t want to be pulling it up all day/night. TIA!

I'm the same size as you and LOVE this bra:

Very Sexy - SEAMLESS PUSH-UP STRAPLESS BRA.  I actually got this in a 32B though, just cause I like the shape it gave me better.  This is the only strapless bra that doesn't flatten me out.

BIG 2nd. It's really not too uncomfortable, either. Plus, it basically comes with its own boobs.

LMonet, I have a VS bra that looks just like that (it's not the Very Sexy bra, though- I think it's called the Convertible bra?), and it doesn't work with my knit tops because the too-ample padding creates this yucky ridge underneath them. like, here's my bony chest, and then WHAM, these two things jut out like extra appendages. I'm still on a quest for that perfect strapless bra.

Did you try on different sizes?  When I tried on the 34A, it cut me in half a bit so I sized up to the 32B and it looks much better.  I only have one top this bra doesn't work well with - a satin halter.  I have a seamless microfiber tube top that I wear over this bra if I need some extra smoothness, which seems to work quite well.  When given the choice though, I'll almost always take slightly bumby breasts over smooth flat non-breasts!

Thanks for this post.  I've never tried that VS bra before but will now.  But I tend to use the NuBra when I don't want straps to show.  I heard mixed reviews about it before I decided to try it out for myself, but thankfully it works great for me.  I find it very comfortable and natural-looking.  (And I've never had one slip.)

no, I have the 32A. I think anything bigger seriously would have been too big. ooh, where did you get your microfiber tube top?! I thought of trying the same thing, but never got around to looking for a tube top.

wow, it's so refreshing to see so many responses on this post.  i am the same size as you all and living in LA it can be quite discouraging.  i was at the gym last night & saw Barbie's cousin in the thinest pink boybeater over huge fake boobs w/ no bra!  not to mention the gobs of makeup (at the gym!!) & perfectly coiffed hair!  plus, my cousin/best friend who i spend all my time w/ is a 36DD naturally & we cannot relate to eachother at all in the breast department.  i'm gonna check out that bra you are all reccomending for sure!   thanks!

Mine is from Body by Victoria from VS - It's like this one but in a nude color:

I"m glad to see all the responses to my post! I'm probably gonna go bra shopping this week, hopefully the bras will work out! I'm interested in trying that tube top from VS as well. Usually I'll wear a cotton cami over my bra to smooth things out but that only works if I'm wearing a top with sleeves. I need something for spagetti straps and such.
