For me, its a mixture but here is what stands out:


Diamond Life
Sade-I was the only teenager listening to Sade when she came out in the 80's but I still love her...I remember listening to this on a summer roadtrip when I was in middle school...and my hubby took me to a Sade concert the summer before Sept. 11th...

This D'Angelo CD

Music from the Motion Picture "Purple Rain"
I played this cd out during the summer between 7th and 8th grade (yeah, I'm old!)

Feels Like Home

I bought this cd when I went to Hawaii so it reminds me of summer (even though it wasn't even summer when we were there)

Tidal-Fiona Apple-Hubby and I saw Fiona Apple at the Hard Rock Las Vegas one very hot summer

Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates
Not my pick but hubby drags me to see Kenny Chesney every summer
Livin' La Vida Loca (Album Version)
Livin La Vida Loca-Remember THAT summer?  That's all they played that summer!
Ghost In The Machine [Digipak]
The Police-Ghost in the Machine-They played this at the swim club one summer...I was probably 8 or 9 that year
Licensed to Ill

Beastie Boys-Licensed to Ill-I remember this because we went to cheerleading camp one summer and they taught us a dance routine to "Brass Monkey" that we did over and over...I still remember that routine too!


Violator

Depeche Mode-I do not need to hear "Personal Jesus" ever again in my life as I heard it plenty one summer as we tried to sneak into clubs the summer after graduation

Chris Isaak - Forever Blue

I got that CD the year I graduated high school (and got my driver's license...I graduated early) so it reminds me of summer nights spend driving around seeing all of my friends as much as I could before college

To me it's the Violent Femmes, I just remember hanging out my friends sunroof at like 16 rocking out to this music
And Erykah Badu, it's perfect chill on a hot summer day music

 Mine too!  There was a summer in high school that I knew the 40oz. to Freedom CD by heart!
