what material is the 2nd skirt made of?

I'm not 100% sure. I think cotton spandex. Its made by David Bitton if that helps any. I can check when I go home tonight.

It also has mini pleats on it if you can't see them in the pic. I mainly got it for going to class and the movies. That sorta thing.

i usually wear light pink or black tops with my brown skirts.

the pink cords are hard. brown top? or maybe a lighter pink?

okay i'll look around and post some pics. of the top of my head i'm thinking you could pair both the pink pants and the gray skirt with a light blue oxford (or even a striped one). that color pink would also look nice with a pale yellow. i'll try and be more specific later.

I still love pink/orange and pink/green. I also have a pair of pink cords, and I've been wearing them with a really deep aqua sweater - this color, but dressier:

For your skirt, I think layered tops, cute tights and flats. I'm also into the mismatched look right now, so I might pair it with a floral print top or jacket (but maybe that is just me).

I just realized I didn't ask if this was for work or play --- I was thinking more of a casual work environment with these ideas. Hope this helps!

(Where does this skirt hit you? If is higher than above-the-knee length, my concern is that a cami might not be 'covered' enough to balance it out.)

Ok so how do VS clothes run. I've always thought an 8 was a M but on their sizing chart they say S. So are they TTS? Bigger? Smaller?

Oh all skirts are above the knee - mid thigh.

in addition to the other fabulous suggestions. i think both the skirt and the pants would look cute with a standard striped button down oxford

the shirt is from polo.com, you can also get the same shirt in the little boys dept. for much cheaper

for a dressier look you could pair the skirt with a james perse tee (a good place to look for these is ebay)

and ballet flats or kitten heels, other color suggestions are, light yellow and mint green. imo both these colors would look excellent with all both skirts & and the pink pants

or for a more casual funky look, you can pair either with a track jacket or sweatshirt and sneakers

i think this skirt would look cute paired with either a blousy top in a cream color or a western style shirt and fryes or other boots though this might not be your style
