Man, I hate packing.  Hate hate hate.

Doesn't it seem like no matter how cute/functional your wardrobe is day-to-day, the second you have to pack for a trip you can't find a group of clothing that will mix and match and be both weather and occasion appropriate?!

I'm procrastinating right now packing for a friend's wedding.  Our activities are going to be so varied and the weather is anyone's guess, so I guess I'm just taking whatever and preparing myself for feeling like I have nothing to wear once we get there hmm.gif.  I hate that feeling.

Is anyone able to avoid this feeling or is it just a function of the lack of options?

I hate packing too. I don't mind putting thought into my outfit each day, but having to think about what I'm going to take somewhere for multiple days is very draining. I always end up overpacking because I pack too many "back up" outfits. But, it makes me feel better; I'd rather have a heavier suitcase and have the option of picking a backup outfit if I think what I brought was inappropriate.

Word.

I feel ya, but I don't have any advice.  I also end up hating what I pack and feeling miserable in whatever I have to wear.

Yeah, that happens to me all the time. I always end up taking the rattiest, worn out stuff. I always save cute outfit ideas I find online to remind myself to pull them up when I go on vacation again, but I never do. I need to plan ahead and stop procrastinating.
