Has anyone else found that the quality of Banana's shoes is not great? I've had problems with heels breaking, but they have some really cute ones right now, and I'm tempted....

Do not waste your $ on BR shoes. I own two pairs. You think i would have learned with the first pair. 1) they are uncomfortable 2) the soles are paper thin and require preventive maintenance (a new sole) before you can even wear them. 3) both of mine are slingbacks and needed not just additional holes but the buckle adjusted (another expense) so that they stay up. 4) material is poor quality
Should i go on?? Stay away from them. The manager in the Santa Fe, NM store agreed that the quality of their shoes were very poor and that they no longer carry shoes in their store because of that.
Aren't all or most of their shoes made in Italy or Brazil? I would think those would be good quality...but i guess not. My mom just bought the italian leather boots with the 2 straps/buckles at the top that are on sale for like $35...has anyone bought those and had trouble with them??
i have 3 pair of banana shoes -- i bought all of them way on sale so they were not too expensive. the two pair of heels have held up okay, but then again i have not worn them that much -- they're more dress up shoes.
i have a pair of kitten heel boots that i wear all the time, and they are holding up pretty well (i've had them over a year). i'm not in a city where i do a lot of walking on pavement, though.
my .02 -- i probably wouldn't pay full price for a pair of their shoes, based on other people's experiences. but if they're marked down and cute and you'll wear them, why not?
