I have two favorite pairs of work shoes- plain black Franco Sarto ballet flats and a pair of Leopard print calf hair Steve Maddens. It will be a sad, sad day when either of these finally give up. My Steve Maddens are already showing a little bald spot.

So while browsing the other day I found these....

Should I get them, even though I don't really need them, and hide them away until my Maddens give out?

It can be tough to find the perfect leopard shoes so if your current pair is starting to get worn out I don't think there's anything wrong with buying these as a future replacement.

IMO animal prints are always in style, if you love them and can work them. I'd buy them because sadly, animal prints are fragile. I have one beautiful pair of pony hair animal print slingbacks and I have to be so careful about what I wear with them. So I say get them now.  :)

Get them! I have a pair of, hmm...I'm looking at them now, I think they're supposed to be giraffe actually. Anyway, I have a pair of giraffe peep-toe wedges that I wear two days of the week. Luckily they aren't pony/calf hair or I would have ruined them long ago. My point is that they are a great addition and you'll wear them tons...even if you do already have another pair.

Get them! They are so cute and if you work them into your rotation now your other shoes will get less wear and therefore last longer!
