Anthro Sweater

anthro
I bought this Anthro sweater on eBay. Its so beautiful in person, made out of a really nice warm wool, but the medium I bought I now think is a bit too big :( I wish I had gotten a small instead.

What should I do with it? It cost me $80 plus shipping and new with tags.
I thought about relisting it but I've never sold on eBay before. Could I recoup as much as I spent?

The arms and shoulders are fine, its just the body isn't as defined as it looks in the pic. Could a tailor alter a sweater? Its wool, do I risk shinking it?

Any advice on what should I do with it?

I definitely wouldn't try shrinking it! You're just asking for trouble. How about moving the buttons or buying a cute brooch or pin and wrapping the bottom half closer to you so that it's more fitted. You could pin it right on the side and it'll be like a wrap sweater...

It might be hard to get all your money back if you've never sold on eBay before, plus it's kind of off-season for that sweater. On the flip side, Anthro stuff always sells well on eBay.

You could also try to sell it on fashions swap.
