Would you pay $128 for this blouse? I want to wait until it goes on sale, but I hate chancing it because by the time things I like go on sale they usually don't have any left in my size. I'm not sure how wearable it would be because of the stripes (I don't need to look any wider).

honestly, I don't think it could be flattering on anyone and I wouldn't spend that much on a silhouette that I think is fairly trendy. It just doesn't show off the model's body at all, and she's a *model*.

I think it would be cute for the beach or around the pool or running casual errands, but I wouldn't spend that much on it and like ttara said, it's not very flattering.

Ditto.  You'd need scary long skinny arms and legs to pull that off I think, and being 5'10" or so probably wouldn't hurt either.  Besides that, I think it could come off a bit juvenile - I think it's the combination of the print, trapeze style, and ruffled sleeves together.  The print on a more fitted style top would be really cute, so I can see why you're drawn to it!

Thanks ladies! I'm glad I posted here instead of buying it like I was going to! I'll pass on it unless it goes on sale for a price I can't pass up.

Elle - I totally see what you mean about it being juvenile. I didn't even notice that before. I think I had my J.Crew shopping goggles on. wink
