Caberet seating on a chicago dinner cruise
Permalink Closed

so i have a voucher that is for dinner for two on the mystic blue cruise in chicago. its a 3 hour dinner cruise. i was going to suprise my boyfriend and take him on the cruise. so anyway, i found out today that its caberet seating so there are 10 ppl to a table. you can pay an extra 85 bucks to get a private table with champagne, a 6X8 photo with frame and a half dozen roses. caberet seating doesnt sound too great to me...i know on weeklong cruises it might be fine because you get to know the people but for a 3 hour dinner im not sure how that would go. any one have an experience with this or thoughts on it? i guess i had just sort of imagined a romantic dinner for two and didnt know about the caberet seating part. thoughts??

If it's just for a couple hours, I'd definitely splurge on the private table. If you did this for some romance, it will be killed by all the strangers sitting around!

I've been on this cruise. My date must have paid the extra $85 because I got roses and champagne. I would recommend paying extra. The cruise I was hosting a prom.
