A really close friend of the family just lost her three month old baby. Tomorrow is the visitation followed by the rosary and Tuesday is the mass followed by the burial. I have no clue on what I should wear! My mom says I shouldn't wear all black because when a baby passes it is said that he was an angel so we should wear white.

Any ideas?

hrm... well, I don't think you can go wrong with black... how about black and white?  white is probably ok anyway -- that's what they wear to funerals in China...

I agree, maybe you could wear a white button-down and a knee-length black skirt, black pumps...then you have black AND white and I don't think either would seem inappropriate no matter the color everyone else is wearing.

I've never been to a funeral for a baby; I've never heard that about white before.
